Oregon Wine Industry

SAVE THE DATE: The annual Oregon Wine Industry Symposium is set for Feb. 25-26, 2014. This will be the third year the conference has been held in Portland at the Oregon Convention Center.

Increasingly, consumers are gravitating toward sustainable viticulture due to the high quality of the wines it produces; a bigger reason is because of the legacy it leaves. By practicing sustainable grape growing and winemaking, we are ensuring that the land, animals, and rivers to which many of our vineyards drain will still be here for generations to come.

The expansion of Oregon's export business is important to raising awareness of the state's growing reputation as a world class wine producing region and increasing the market for our wine. The Oregon Wine Board develops and supports programs that assist our wineries in gaining market access to key regions around the world.

The Oregon Wine Board offers viticultural and enological educational services that enable Oregon producers to grow and vinify among the highest quality wines in the world.

Join us for the kick-off to Oregon Wine Month when wineries from across the state come together with 25 of our top chefs to share an afternoon with you. Guests will explore the diversity of Oregon, our winemakers and varietals.

Oregon Wine Month is filling up with a variety of wine country events throughout the entire month. The OWB is working with distributor and retail partners to provide graphic consistency in the diverse efforts focused on increasing awareness and sales among Oregonians.
